ORC™
offline Realtime Communication
ORC™ is used to share and distribute real-time stock between all active devices in the created network among the sales crew.
It further delivers the option for current stock and location - so crew never have to search all trollies for an item.
ORC™ is build on iOS multi-peer connectivity, that users either Bluetooth and/or Wi-Fi-to-wifi for synchronizing data between devices in real-time.
The system is a closed network and uses TLS encryption over a direct Apple-created peer-to-peer connection
for keeping stock and sales up to date on all devices. This means that it’s in a safe environment and can
only be joined by other Cubus applications with the same certificates.
